How to book accommodation

 

1. You send us an enquiry

If you are interested in a holiday home, please use the form in the property description for your enquiry. We will be happy to answer your questions, check availability and send you an offer with all prices. The house can be reserved for two days without obligation, so that you have enough time to decide. If the landlord wishes to accept your booking during this time, we will inform you immediately.


Your enquiry is therefore non-binding until you expressly book the property.

 

2. You make a binding booking for the property

If you wish to make a binding booking, we will have the booking confirmed by the provider and send you a booking confirmation immediately.

 

3. You transfer the deposit

Now transfer the deposit amount to the specified account. The deposit includes a small commission and sometimes also an initial deposit for the landlord or tour operator, which we will pass on accordingly.

 

4. You have transferred the deposit

With the transfer of your deposit, you have made a binding booking for the property and a rental contract is concluded with the landlord or tour operator in accordance with our agency terms and conditions. We will send you the rental agreement and your travel documents with directions and information on handing over the keys on site by e-mail.

 

5. Payment of the remaining amount

You pay the entire remaining amount and all other costs directly on site in cash or by bank transfer to the provider's account. The exact procedure is described in the e-mail with the booking confirmation.


Please transfer the balance to the provider at least 4 weeks before your planned arrival. The money must be credited to the account when the keys are handed over, otherwise the landlord or tour operator may refuse to hand over the property.

 

 

 


 

 

Further information on booking the holiday home

All prices can be found in the description of the respective property. Variable consumption costs, final cleaning and the deposit are often added to the rent. Therefore, please pay attention to the information and prices for these amounts below the price tables.

 

Prices and additional costs

Some costs are paid in cash on site and are not included in the rental price:

 

  • Consumption costs for electricity, gas and water
  • visitor's tax
  • Final cleaning
  • Rent for bed linen and towels
  • Additional costs for pets brought along
  • Rent for extra beds
  • Wood for the fireplace

 

 

Arrival and departure

Please note that arrival is generally not possible before 14:00 local time. We ask for your understanding that arrivals after 19:00 or at later times are usually possible, but some landlords charge an additional fee, especially for arrivals after 20:00.


On departure, you must always leave the property by 10.00 a.m. at the latest. If you require other times, please discuss this with us or the landlord before departure.


If the landlord does not hand over the property himself, he will be represented by a previously notified contact person. If you are delayed or if your arrival time changes unexpectedly, please inform the named contact person of your new arrival time at the agreed meeting point.


Leave the rental property clean and tidy. Cookware and crockery must be washed. The entire furnishings of the property must be in the same condition as when you moved in.

 

 

Others

There is a detailed description for each holiday flat and holiday home. All the pictures, information and price lists available to us are stored there. Please note that we often prepare the descriptions of the accommodation according to the landlords' statements if we have not yet visited them.


The available periods are shown in the property's occupancy calendar. The calendars are updated regularly, but in rare cases there may be deviations.


Unfortunately, it is not possible to let a property for less than a week. If you have any special requests regarding arrival and departure, please contact us. So far we have almost always found a solution.


Important: Take out travel cancellation insurance and international health insurance before you travel.


Always check with us before travelling with pets, even if they are permitted according to the description.


Please also bear in mind that many properties are located in rural areas. Animals are usually also kept there. Many landlords have dogs, occasional dog barking, other animal noises and local noises from agriculture such as tractor noise can occur and are no reason for a complaint.
